Schwarzenegger on "Extreme Makeover" to Promote Solar Use

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger made a cameo appearance on the ABC television show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" last Sunday as a way to draw more attention to the use of solar energy in homes and businesses. In the episode, the show’s team built an energy-efficient home, with solar panels incorporated into the roof tiles.

Schwarzenegger is currently promoting the Million Solar Roofs Initiative. The new legislation would create a 10-year incentive fund to encourage owners of residential homes and commercial buildings to install solar power systems.
