The problem of a spent nuclear fuel storage facility near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant will be resolved in a month or two, Emergency Situations Minister Viktor Boloha told the press in Paris on Wednesday.

"The problem of the spent nuclear fuel storage facility was raised at the energy forum, and it would be resolved within a month or two," he said.

French-based Framatome Company will continue building the facility, Boloha said.

Construction was suspended because of the technical parameters, certain misunderstandings between Ukraine and France and a deficit of funds, he said.
