ZAP Electric Cars Are Selling

September 7, 2005

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Zero Air Pollution (ZAP) attributes the recent sales surge of its electric cars and a growing list of prospective electric car buyers to current spikes in oil and gas prices. Where gas cars use about 12 cents worth of fuel for every mile, electric cars use only 3 cents worth. That means an electric car can travel four times as far as a gasoline car for the same money. The cars can be plugged into any regular 110-V outlet to be recharged.
