Russia's Arctic Nuclear Power Plant Achieves Highest Production in 10 Years

Murmansk, 29 December: The Kola nuclear power station - the world's biggest nuclear power plant inside the polar circle - met the annual target today. It has generated 10bn kWh of electricity this year.

This is the best result achieved by the polar region's nuclear power plant workforce over the past 10 years, an ITAR-TASS correspondent has been told by the plant administration.
