Average US regular gasoline price falls 2.3 cts to $1.905/gal:EIA

The average retail price of regular gasoline in the US fell 2.3 cts to
$1.905/gal for the week ended July 26, the US Energy Information
Administration said Monday. The average price in the latest survey week was
38.9 cts/gal above the year-ago level, EIA said. Prices fell in most other US
regions, with those in the Midwest falling by an average 4.6 cts to
$1.846/gal; on the West Coast regular by 2.2 cts to $2.091/gal; on the US
Gulf and East coasts by 1.2 cts/gal to $1.806/gal and $1.909, respectively;
and by 0.6 ct to $1.920/gal in the Rocky Mountains region. In California, the
average price of gas fell by 2.4 cts to $2.162/gal. The current price average
is 45.5 cts/gal higher than the year-ago figure, EIA said.
