Proton Energy Systems Announces Distribution Agreement with GE

WALLINGFORD, Conn., June 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Proton Energy Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Distributed Energy Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: DESC) and a manufacturer of HOGEN(R) on-site hydrogen generator systems for electric generator cooling within power plants, announced today the signing of a distribution agreement with GE Supply, a business unit of General Electric Company.

The 36-month agreement appoints GE as a non-exclusive distributor of Proton's products for the electric power production industry throughout the world, excluding select European countries.
