It's Time to Go Solar!
With rising energy prices, people are looking at every available
alternative to reduce their energy costs, whether it's buying a car
cheaper on gas, to turning the thermostat down during the winter, to
looking at solar technologies to convert over to in running essential
household items. Everyone would love to have access to a solar system
for their house, wouldn't they? But let's face it... those house systems
cost a fairly pretty penny to purchase and have installed. No, let's
rephrase that... they cost more than a lot of us can afford!
And using the government to finance solar companies like Solyndra
doesn't help the little man on the street at all in acquiring solar
technologies either. In fact, the only thing that happens with that type
of backing is that political donors get payback for their donation
dollars and we, the taxpayers, get fleeced.
No, what we desperately need are market-based, consumer-driven companies
listening to the customer, listening to their needs, and providing a
product that meets that need. We here at Solutions From Science pride
ourselves on being that type of company. We built our company, not from
the top down with taxpayer-backed loans that got defaulted on, but from
the ground up, with our own sweat-equity and private funds propelling us
forward.
Through each step of the process we listened to our customers, we heard
them when they told us what they wanted, and we reacted to those needs
the best we could. We scoured the manufacturing markets to bring them
the best possible prices for the highest quality products.
And we've been successful.
We brought you our first portable solar generator, and when you said you
wanted something bigger, we put our heads together and came up with a
bigger unit. Then you said you needed even more capacity, and we rolled
out an even larger unit. We've gone from our original PowerSource 1800
generator to the PowerHub 1800, the PowerHub Plus, and this summer saw
our debut Power Station 4000 Flex, a backup system that ties into your
electrical panel to provide emergency power for those systems you feel
you need in the event of a power outage.
However, many of our customers are tinkerers and doers themselves, or
they're contractors doing solar installations for their customers. There
can never be a one-size-fits-all system because everyone is so
individually different! You can't justify the cost to purchase one of
these plug-and-play systems because you know you're just going to
attempt to tear it apart and remold it to fit your particular
application. So you go elsewhere, looking for components to fit that
special system you want to build.
You scour the Internet and elsewhere, and find that there are some that
say you can build your own solar panels for pennies on the dollar.
But...
... building those panels is not as easy as it looks (or that others
make it out to be).
In fact, the failure rate of homemade panels for everyday use is
extremely high. For many of us, that's just not an attractive option. If
you're going to put that much time, effort, and money into trying to
build and prepare, you certainly don't want to have to contend with
equipment failure on a regular basis. If you're like me, when you have a
piece of equipment, you want it to function when you need it. A piece of
equipment that constantly breaks down is just a major source of
aggravation and frustration ... and usually requires an extra quantity
of repentance to boot!
It was thinking about the DIY customer that got our wheels turning. We
had been having unparalleled success with our PowerHub and PowerSource
units. The introduction of the Power Station 4000 Flex was met with
great enthusiasm. And when we began figuring our 2012 sales estimates to
take to our overseas supplier, it was you, the DIY customer, which we
had foremost on our minds.
We took our projected sales estimates to the negotiating table, and we
told our suppliers that we wanted to be an exclusive distributor of
their solar panels, but they were going to have to get right on the
price. We refused to back down. Our customers are hard-working,
self-reliant people with a can-do attitude and a pioneer spirit. We
wanted to offer those do-it-yourselfers the highest quality product we
could find, and at rock-bottom prices.
Let me tell you--they were tough nuts to crack. But at the end of the
day, we got what we wanted. And now we're able to pass that savings on
to you.
Introducing our
Solar Panel Blowout! No, we don't call it a sale. These
prices are our every day prices, and they're approximately 50% off the
retail price. We've negotiated these prices for you, our loyal
customers, who consider themselves to be contractors, do-it-yourselfers,
or tinkerers. We wanted to provide you with the highest quality solar
panels available so you can build your own unique solar system, one that
fits your needs.
These panels come in 185-watt models or 250-watt models, and the more
you buy, the less they cost per unit.
These high efficiency solar panels are built to the following exacting
specifications:
- Tempered glass that can withstand hail up to 1" in diameter
- Heavy duty rugged frames of extruded aluminum that will work
with any mounting system on the market today
- Pre-wired with industry-standard MC2 interlocking connectors
- Operating temperature ranges of -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F)
- Mono-silicon crystal cell technology
- Can be used in series or parallel
You deserve to be energy independent without breaking the bank. You
need high quality products to fashion that solar system you've got
stewing in the back of your mind. By offering these solar panels to our
customers, we're providing you with yet another means of attaining that
energy independence.

P.S. Please note: These panels are not the same panels we use for our
solar generators. Solar generator panels require a different wiring box
with a proprietary technology designed specifically for solar generator
use.
