Documentary examines potential of zero wasteSept. 28 -- Sage Environmental Services, a Seattle, Wash.-based company, released a documentary this month examining zero waste. Titled "Unwasted: The Future of Business on Earth," the documentary gives tips to small businesses on how to meet zero waste goals with a step-by-step breakdown. Some of the Pacific Northwest region´s most prominent waste-reduction professionals are interviewed in the film. Local businesses making a mark in the community and across the nation also are profiled. "I am delighted to have had the chance to bring this project together," said Julie Pond, Sage president and documentary executive producer. "We are so thankful to all the participants, the industry leaders and pioneers who made ‘Unwasted’ possible.
