Plenty of Bad News about Health Care

As we enter 2012, there's plenty of bad news about health care.

The efforts to get the infamous Obamacare bill overturned have failed. And the full plan is set to be phased in between now through 2014. Which means we're about to experience...

The Biggest Health Care Shortage in American History!

We've already got major bottlenecks in the health care system. There are too many patients and too few doctors. Sally Pipes, writing for Forbes magazine, reports that medical schools currently produce only one primary-care doctor for every two that our country needs.

And yet Obamacare will expand Medicaid to cover as many as 25 million MORE Americans! This massive influx of people will overwhelm the already-crowded system, making it harder to get the care you need when you need it most.

By the time 2019 rolls around (only 7 years from now), the American Academy of Family Physicians warns that there will be a shortage of 40,000 doctors. Rather than waiting a week for an appointment, you may have to wait a month, two months, or longer. Waiting room times could skyrocket. Quality of care will inevitably go down.

Doctors Predict Higher Costs, Longer Wait Times

While the American Medial Association (AMA) supports Obamacare, the majority of doctors do not. In fact, many of them have canceled their AMA memberships, saying the AMA no longer represents physicians' best interests.

Doctors are almost unanimous in their dislike of Obamacare. And their predictions about the future of health care are gloomy indeed. Here are a few facts and figures you should be aware of:

  • 73% of doctors say Obamacare will actually increase health care costs.
  • Nearly 7 out of 10 doctors say that medicine is no longer attractive to America's "best and brightest" students.
  • 90% of doctors say that insurers will raise health insurance premiums for employers and individuals as Obamacare is implemented.
  • 83% of doctors predict longer wait times for primary care appointments, and 70% believe emergency rooms will have dangerously long wait times.

As Pipes concludes in her Forbes article, Obamacare "hinders the practice of medicine, obstructs access to care, and costs Americans more." And the vast majority of doctors are simply not on board.

Doctors Threaten to Stop Practicing, Leave U.S.

But as bad as all this is, it's nothing compared to the stranglehold D.C. has on doctors. Get this: Obamacare forces doctors to treat more patients... yet, at the same time, lowers their Medicaid reimbursement rates, which in many cases doesn't even cover the cost of care!

In other words, doctors will be forced to work harder and longer for less money. They'll actually be losing money on a good portion of their patients! It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize this situation simply won't work.

Doctors are not stupid, and they won't accept this kind of heavy-handed government abuse. Rather than operate at a loss, many doctors will shut their offices down and transition into a new career. Many more have already publicly declared their intent to leave the country and practice medicine overseas.

When this happens, the health care shortage will go from bad to worse. As doctors quit or leave, Americans will find themselves without enough doctors to handle the number of sick people who need treatment. Many people may even die from lack of prompt medical care.

Don't Like Obamacare? Then Opt Out!

Much more could be said about the negative impacts of Obamacare, but my point in writing to you today is not to focus exclusively on the problems, but also on the solutions.

You see, you can opt out of Obamacare in 2012... but only if you know what to do. You must know about very specific trends and specialized information that are becoming increasingly hard to find due to today's centrally controlled media.

That's why Solutions From Science has put together the guide you'll find at the link below. It explains -- in vivid detail -- how you can avoid the worst of what's coming... and... get top-notch health care for a fraction of what everyone else has to pay.

P.S. Even if Republicans take over the office of the presidency in 2012, health care may still continue its rapid decline. After all, Obamacare was based largely on Romneycare -- the creation of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
